Dolls Pram Quilt & Pillow Sets - Tutorial

I decided to have a go at making a Dolls pram quilt & pillow set and here is a photo of the finished product
Its not a brilliant first attempt but a good prototype for me to use for making my pattern for future sets!
Anyway see what you think!
The quilt itself measures approx 15"x12" so ideal for a medium sized doll!

I used 18 - 2.5" x 4" squares sewn together as in the picture
Added the wadding & backing as with the larger quilts then added a fun ribbon around the edge
The pillow was done in the same way using scraps of material!

Here are a few more I made today, again using scraps of Fabric

and the back of the quilt

and the next one:

and the back!!

Pillows to follow!!

Fabric Storage

I decided to keep my fabrics in some kind of order I would  purchase some foam boards & wind the fabric onto them
I used A4 size 5mm foam boards which I bought from Amazon at a reasonably cheap price!
I think you will agree it certainly looks neat! lol!!

A Few more Fabrics

Here are a few more Fabrics which arrived today
Looks like I'm going to be a bit busy! lol!!

New Fabrics arrived Yesterday

Just thought I would post these photos of the new fabrics I purchased from OhSewCrafty!

Great shop for Cottons at reasonable prices although delivery can be a little slow, It took a week for them to arrive from Dispatch so don't expect them in a hurry!
